Tried & Tested Transfer Proof Concealers
Now that we’ve all settled into our pandemic lives and creating new daily routines, I’m wearing makeup in full swing with or without the maskne. I don’t care, I’m a makeup artist damn it! And looking fabulous is more important to me because it alters my mood for the day. It’s the one thing that makes me feel alive and confident. Wearing makeup under a mask has now become a science and I’m sure, as you all know, not all concealers are made equally. So I’ve done a lot of concealer trial and error to create my master list of concealers that will hold up with minimal transfer under a mask.
Dermablend Cover Care Full Coverage Concealer: $28
Although this brand isn’t often spoken about on social media Dermablend cover care is a legend amongst professional makeup artists. This full-coverage concealer is truly an oldie but goodie. With Dermablend’s Cover Care concealer you don’t even have to think about touching up!
Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Longwear Concealer: $29
I’ve always been a huge fan of Laura Mercier for focusing on sensitive skin types. And while everyone obsesses over the setting powder Flawless Fusion Ultra Longwear Concealer is also something worth raving about. The lightweight silky texture feels great on the skin and holds up well while wearing a mask.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer: $30
The Nars radiant creamy concealer is a beauty community fave! This full-coverage formula is a great option for people with dry skin. One thing I love about Nars is the wide shade range they offer making it a brown girl friendly brand.
Benifit Cosmetics Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer $22
This Boi-ing cakeless concealer is actually one of my current favorites and I’m actually surprised that I didn’t try this formula sooner. This multi-purpose full coverage liquid concealer is lightweight and doesn’t settle into fine lines.
MAKE UP FOREVER Matte Velvet Skin High Coverage Multi-Use Concealer $27
The Matte Velvet Skin High Coverage concealer is a brand spankin’ NEW multi-use formula. And super silky smooth with a flawless finish!
MAKE UP FOREVER Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer $28
While the Makeup forever Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer isn’t full coverage, this medium coverage concealer has the perfect buildable formula to help you put together the perfect base.
Tarte Cosmetics Double Duty Shape Tape Contour Concealer $27
This cult-favorite concealer is a must-have for people with oily skin and looking for a dry, matte finish. Tarte’s Shape tape concealer has a full-coverage formula that gives the skin a firmer, more lifted look.
Too Face Cosmetics Born This Way Super Coverage Concealer: $30
This multi-purpose concealer is fully loaded with pigment and has an incredible shade range. This concealer is a great bang for your buck because you do in fact get a lot of product.
Please keep in mind that, some of the suggested brands aren’t going to leave your mask 100% spotless but these are the top concealers that have personally tested that gave me the least amount of transfer. My social media is always open, so let me know what you think of my master concealer list!
