Lipsticks You Can Wear With A Mask

LOCKDOWN LIPSTICKS

While the world has been falling apart, I’ve been spending my time wisely by looking for ways to look glamorous in my mask now that wearing one has become the new norm. Just because 2020 went to shit and we’re required to wear a mask doesn’t mean lipstick is canceled. It’s just not, because, well… I said so. I really miss wearing a ruby red lip and other fun bold colors, I mean it is fall after all. But the reality of it is, life has changed, and at the moment I just can’t be bothered with the mess some lipsticks make under my mask. So I took it upon myself to make my own #triedandtested list of mask-safe lipsticks. One trick that has never failed me and stuck by my side is using a lip liner as my lipstick. First I outline and define, then I fill in the rest of my lips. No lipstick. No lipgloss. The liner formula is practically budge-proof. Trust me, I’ve done the research, it took me a few months.

Disclaimer: Not all of these lipsticks are bulletproof, but it’s as close as it gets. So far the best formula has been liquid to matte formulas which I allow to dry about 10 minutes prior to putting on my mask and going about my day. The only drawback with the liquid matte lipstick is it can be drying and make the lips feel tight. I’m down with tight and fabulous. OH…and yea…Applying on a lip balm or chapstick under the matte formula doesn’t help either. Defeats the purpose of the product being budge-proof and holding in place and causes the formula MOVE.

But don’t despair….Let’s do Corona with Karuna!

Love you guys,
