I recently conducted a poll on Instagram asking my followers: “What has been the hardest lip color to find?” Hands down the most popular color was CORAL! I found myself scratching my head and asked myself: “Why is it so hard to find a good coral lipstick? And why are so many so afraid of the color?” Contrary to what many of my followers believe coral is not a hard color to pull off as long as you keep a few things in mind. While pink lipstick is easy enough for most to wear without much thought, an orange lip tends to be a bit more intimidating. For a perfect middle ground between play-it-safe pink and all-out orange, try coral!
The pink-orange-yellow hybrid is my go-to for some refreshing lip service for summer. But here are a few of my favorite coral lipsticks for brown girls.

The shade Carina’s Star from Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Collection It’s probably one of the most universal coral shades on this list. It practically works for every skin tone. Carina’s Star is a soft yet modern peachy coral color that pays homage to actress, Carina Lau. Overall this is a classic coral lipstick color.
